TRADE & DESIGN PARTNERS
Alex Roby Design welcomes collaborations with interior designers, architects, stylists, and design professionals seeking distinctive, one-of-a-kind ceramic work for residential and commercial spaces.
One-of-a-Kind Artwork
Each piece is individually made by hand, with its own form, surface, and material character. Natural variations and intentional irregularities are integral to the work, making every piece unique. While existing forms may inform future work, exact replication is not possible. Commissioned pieces will reflect the character of the original work while retaining their own individual qualities.
Pricing for Design & Wholesale Partners
Trade pricing is available for qualifying design professionals and wholesale partners. Discounts are based on the total number of pieces ordered:
1–5 pieces: 20% discount
6–10 pieces: 30% discount
11+ pieces: 40% discount
Pricing and order details are confirmed directly via email prior to the commencement of each project.
Production & Lead Times
Orders typically require 5–8 weeks for completion, depending on the quantity and nature of the work. Wheel-thrown pieces and hand-built sculptures may require different production timelines. Larger orders or projects involving multiple forms may require additional time.
Estimated lead times and delivery arrangements will be discussed and confirmed via email before an order is finalized.
For trade pricing, wholesale orders, or projects tailored to a specific space, please get in touch via email to discuss your requirements, anticipated quantities, and timeline. I welcome thoughtful collaborations and the opportunity to create work that brings a distinctive material presence to your space.

Additional Information
-
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon agreement to begin the project. The remaining balance, including shipping costs, is due before dispatch.
Prior to shipment, photographic and video documentation of the completed work will be provided for client review and approval. Final payment must be received following approval and before the work is shipped.
-
Each piece is carefully packaged by hand to help ensure its safe arrival. I take particular care in preparing ceramic work for transit, using considered packaging methods suited to the individual form and its fragility.
All shipments are insured, providing an additional layer of protection while the work is in transit. Shipping costs and delivery arrangements are confirmed with the client in advance, with final shipping charges included in the balance due before the order is sent to it’s destination.
-
Each ceramic piece is individually handcrafted and carefully packaged by hand, with all shipments insured to help protect the work in transit.
In the event of breakage during production, I will communicate directly with the client to arrange a suitable resolution, which may include remaking the piece, where feasible, or refunding the amount paid for the affected work.
If a piece arrives damaged, the client must notify me within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs of the damage and original packaging so that a shipping insurance claim can be initiated where applicable. The original packaging should be retained until the claim has been resolved. Depending on the circumstances, a replacement or alternative resolution will be discussed directly with the client.
As each work is one of a kind, exact replacements cannot be guaranteed. Any remade piece will retain its own individual character and may vary from the original.
Once work has been delivered in good condition, Alex Roby Design is not responsible for damage resulting from handling, installation, accidents, or improper use. Any concerns regarding damage or defects should be communicated promptly upon receipt.

As each piece is individually crafted, orders require dedicated time, materials, and preparation. Once an order has been confirmed and production has begun, cancellations may not be possible.
The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable and secures the project, materials, and production time. If an order is cancelled after work has commenced, the deposit will be retained. Any additional costs incurred or work completed beyond the deposit may be invoiced where applicable under the agreed project terms.
Requests to modify an order, including changes to quantity, form, or specifications, must be submitted in writing and are subject to approval. Modifications may affect the final cost and estimated completion date.
If unforeseen circumstances prevent me from completing an order, I will communicate with the client directly to discuss an appropriate resolution.
